Abstract

This experiment was carried out during two consecutive seasons of 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 in the experimental farm of horticulture department, Faculty of Agriculture Moshtohor Benha university, Egypt, to study alleviation of salinity stress on vegetative and flowering growth, chemical composition and essential oil of viola plants. By using the chemical method as a foliar spray of (proline and methyl salicylate (Me Sa)) and magnetic field as modern technology and friendly to the environment under saline conditions. Results revealed that Irrigation of Viola odorataLinn.
